After-School Activities

If you would like to book your child on to one or more of the clubs, please complete the online booking form below. Please note that it is not possible for pupils to attend individual sessions – only block sessions can be booked. Once the booking is confirmed, parents will be invoiced in the usual way.

We will award the places on a first come first serve basis. Once the club is full, the option will be taken off the sign up sheet.

MONDAY

Monday Funday for Pre-School - Year 2 (Every Monday from April 28th - July 7th) £43.20 (VAT included)

Monday Funday will be a fun-filled space where children can engage in a range of activities including games, arts and crafts, and much more. Our aim is to provide an environment that nurtures their artistic skills while encouraging them to express themselves freely. Whether it’s getting their hands messy with paint, building imaginative structures, or brainstorming stories, there will be something for every budding artist and creator!

Outdoor Sports for Year 3 - 6 (Every Monday from April 28th - July 7th) £43.20 (VAT included)

Each week, children will participate in a different outdoor activity such as Kwik Cricket, rounders, handball, dodgeball, and other engaging team games. These sessions are designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence while having fun with friends. All abilities are welcome.

Cricket Club for Year 7 - 11 (Every Monday from April 28th - July 7th) £43.20 (VAT included)

A fun and engaging introduction to the sport which can be for beginners or experienced cricket players! The club focuses on helping the children to develop their teamwork, skill development and overall knowledge on the sport. They will work on the fundamental skills of cricket such as batting, fielding and bowling. The children will also engage in mini drills and matches which will help them to build their confidence and sportsmanship too.

Science Club for selected pupils (Every Monday from April 28th - July 7th) FULLY BOOKED

The Science Club offers pupils an engaging environment to explore scientific concepts through hands-on experiments and activities. By participating in team challenges, students enhance their fundamental movement skills while fostering collaboration and critical thinking. It’s a fantastic opportunity to ignite curiosity and inspire a love for science in a fun, friendly setting!

TUESDAY

Outdoor Sports for Pre School - Year 2 (Every Tuesday from April 29th - July 1st) £43.20 (VAT included)

A fun-filled club to introduce them to a variety of outdoor sports! They will have the opportunity to explore games such as football, basketball, athletics, netball and many more! Through team-building exercises and play, they will develop their motor skills, co-ordination, and team work whilst developing their knowledge on the outdoor sports.

ChooseDay Club for Year 3 - 6 (Every Tuesday from April 29th - July 1st) £43.20 (VAT included)

The ChooseDay club will offer a range of exciting board games, such as snakes and ladders, guess who, frustration, and who am I? Additionally, selected card games like snap, pairs, and top trumps will be available for the children to enjoy. Over the course of a few weeks, the participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creative skills and ideas by creating their very own board game or card game.

Rugby for Year 7 - 11 (Every Tuesday from April 29th - July 1st) £43.20 (VAT included)

These sessions will be an introduction to Rugby League rules and the skills required.  Open to players of all experience levels whether you are an absolute beginner or have had some training, these sessions will include fitness, agility and learning the correct and safe techniques required to play Rugby League.  The group of players will be split according to age, size and experience.

WEDNESDAY

Gardening & Outdoor Crafts for Pre School - Year 2 (Every Wednesday from April 30th - July 2nd ) £43.20 (VAT included)

Children will learn some basic gardening skills and get involved in maintenance & planting projects that will include sowing & growing salads, vegetables & flowers. There will also be nature - inspired seasonal crafts suitable for children who love being creative and enjoy being outdoors.

Kinball is a unique, fast-paced sport where teams of four work together to hit a giant inflatable ball to keep it off the ground to score points. The catch? You’ll need to communicate, plan, and work together to keep the ball in the air and outsmart the other teams! It’s all about strategy, coordination, and having a blast—no special skills needed! Kinball requires teamwork with every person having to be involved at all times to be able to outperform the other teams.

FRIDAY

Storytelling Club for PreSchool - Year 2 (Every Friday from May 2nd - July 4th) £43.20 (VAT included)

We will be exploring a range of themed stories, discussing our understanding of new text and content and practising our storytelling skills and expressions that help bring the story to life. Story time will be followed by a craft activity to support the story.

Art Club for Year 7 - 11 (Every Friday from May 2nd - July 4th) £43.20 (VAT included)

A hands-on art club for Years 7-10, exploring different creative techniques each week. Experimental mark-making using unconventional tools to explore texture and expressive lines. Abstract acrylic painting inspired by emotions and music, focusing on colour blending. Mixed media and collage, creating surreal compositions with layered materials. Clay sculpting, making relief tiles to develop 3D design skills. Printmaking with foam, designing bold repeat patterns. Perspective drawing, exploring one- and two-point perspective to create depth in cityscapes or futuristic landscapes. Showcase session, displaying students' work and reflecting on skills learned. This structured yet flexible program encourages creativity, confidence, and skill building while making art fun and engaging. Students will experiment with different mediums, leading to a final celebration of their artistic journey.
