We understand how important it is for pupils to try new activities and discover new interests. Throughout the year, a wide range of ‘never-offered- before’ activities will be available after school. We have engaged several external providers and selected what we believe to be wonderful opportunities for the pupils. This half term, we have golf and drama.

As these activities involve external providers, we are only able to run the clubs if there are sufficient numbers to make them viable. If you would like your child to attend either a golf package or drama package or both, please complete the online submission form at the bottom of this page.

Golf

For 4 weeks starting the earliest Wednesday that we can at 4.00pm – 5.00pm

Liverpool Golf Centre will be running golf coaching sessions for pupils from Year 3 upwards. Over the course of 4 weeks, pupil will learn how to swing, putt, and chip. There will be a focus on teamwork and the pupils will learn to play a tri-golf course. The cost for the 4 sessions is £25 which covers specialist coaching and use of equipment provided by Liverpool Golf Centre. After October half term, this will be offered to pupils in other year groups.

Drama

Starting the earliest Monday that we can at 3.45pm – 4.30pm

Would you like to be the next Judi Dench or Ian McKellen? Come to Showbizzi and hone your acting techniques, learn key skills and gain confidence in yourself.  The sessions take the form of workshops which include drama games and activities. We are hoping this will lead to a school performance. Initially, Showbizzi will be available to Years 3 and 4, with a view to opening it up to other year groups as soon as possible.

Dates will be confirmed once we reach the required minimum number. We will award the places on a first come first serve basis (this will be gained from the online submission form below).
